Alessandra Ambrosio for The Coveteur.
On the last week of December each year, we find ourselves making resolutions to start off the New Year on a clean, fresh slate. Most goals tend to revolve around our heath or well-being. We put down goals we wish achieve and notes of positive encouragement to help us along the way, but what about our wardrobes? Below we’ve rounded up a few fashion resolutions that are realistic enough to achieve!
Fashion Resolution #1: Take Care of Your Wardrobe
We’re all guilty of tossing our shoes aside after a long day at work and we can definitely be lazy when it comes to having to hand-wash certain items, but sticking to the advice on the label really will prevent you from ruining that gorgeous silk blouse. This year, make an effort to store your clothes properly, protect cashmere from pesky moths and fold as opposed to hanging heavy knitwear so it maintains shape. We know sometimes it’s tough, but take the extra two minutes every day to clean up dirty shoes before you put them away and soon enough, it’ll become part of your daily routine.
Fashion Resolution #2: Reinvent It
Instead of tossing everything in sight, set aside time to really comb through your closet and play around. Trust us, you’ll find that favorite slouchy tee and cropped jeans you thought you lost centuries ago. Then, have a little dress up session to create chic new outfits. Fold, hang, vacuum pack, whatever you need to do to create some order and take note of what clothes you own.

Fashion Resolution #3: Channel Your Inner Tomboy
Androgyny is back on the horizon for 2015 and we’re definitely feeling it. There’s something sexy about combining masculine and feminine features… who knows, maybe it’s the way our angel Alessandra does it!

Fashion Resolution #4: Branch Out
No drastic measures need to be taken (unless that’s what you’re looking for!) but why not step outside your comfort zone in just one or two ways? Whether it’s upping your accessory game or trying new hues or bold patterns, it’s an easy way to climb out of a style rut.
Fashion Resolution #5: Have More Fun
Stop taking everything so seriously! Have girl’s night more often, have a little vacay with your family or significant other, remember to pamper yourself often and LOVE your body. At the end of the day, if you’re not feeling confident in your outfit, then what’s the point? Fashion’s all about showing off your personality and enhancing your curves. We say flaunt what you’ve got!
What’s your new year’s style resolution we missed?
We usualy miss to keep on resolution in the middle of year. Haha. And stay true to our real style, not only follow the trend that make our wallet skinner, skinner, and skinner.
