Alessandra Ambrosio & Jamie Mazur for Vogue Germany, June 2011
A hot date is the perfect opportunity to take your look up a notch, so who better to look to than our ultra sexy Victoria’s Secret superstar, Alessandra Ambrosio? With SO many gorgeous red carpet looks, you have an array of never ending beauty looks to try. No matter your hair color or face shape, no matter your date night adventure, Ale’s got that angel style fit for all!
VOCO Super Bowl Party
Game Time: Hair guru Dominick Pucciarello revealed to Hollywood Life he how wanted to give Ale “Super Bowl”-ready hair, so big, long and sexy. Say hello to a sleek new way to appeal to man’s love for sports! “I started with Kevin Murphy Thickening Spray and lotion. I gave her a beautiful Mason Pierson blowout — so very soft and sexy. The thickening spray gave us a lot of volume on top. I then went in with a one and a half inch curling iron just on the ends. I alternated directions in each section to give it that loose, sexy feel. To finish off, I went back in and gently brushed out her hair with a round brush to pull out the curls. That make it look undone and straighter — as opposed to tighter curls. To finish, I used Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray for some hold and extra texture. The style is simple, beautiful and easy to recreate at home.”

Braided Detail: You’ve seen this gorgeous braid before and our how-to guide straight from the hairstylist who created it, Aaron King. This flirty twist on the modern braid is perfect for a first date, second date, third date… and so forth! (You get the idea).
2011 Victoria’s Secret Swim Collection Party
Tousled Waves: Extra glossy, and bouncy and wavy aka the Victoria’s Secret look (another one all of mankind’s faves). To get Ale’s pretty and relatively tame waves, start with a rough blowout, then wrap just the ends around a large-barrel curling iron and smooth on a shine serum from the midshaft down.
Romantic Low Bun: So simple and sweet… this style screams date night style or classic dinner party. Blogger Anne Sage teaches you how to achieve this look by dividing hair into three sections and make a ponytail from the center section and secure with an elastic. Then, make a low bun from the ponytail and secure using a Goody Simple Styles Spin Pin. Separate the left section into two equal parts. Roll and twist the piece of hair that is closer to the bun up and over the bun. Fasten with another Spin Pin. Roll and twist the piece of hair that is farther from the bun into place beneath the bun. Pin, then repeat steps with the hair that remains on the right, leaving pieces framing the face as desired.

Rough Waves: Another sexy do you can credit to Dominick Pucciarello.. and a lot of texture. To get these cool-girl waves, twist random sections of hair around a curling wand – There’s nothing pressing on the other side (like a clamp) so the hair can stay full even while being curled. In other words, it’s not being “smashed” against the hot barrel. Then, douse them with dry shampoo for a roughed-up finish and you can even pin it to one side and show off those gorg collar bones!
Which style will you rock on your next big date?
Totally love these looks! But wish there was a step-by-step to help non-hairstylists to do something similar. I clicked the ‘How To’ link for the first one and it didn’t really break things down much.
